Man Burned In Gas Explosion Inside Trailer
BLOOMINGTON (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a 75-year-old man sustained second- and third-degree burns in a gasoline explosion inside his travel trailer in San Bernardino County.
The incident occurred about 10:50 a.m. Thursday in the 18200 block of Slover Avenue in Bloomington, San Bernardino County fire officials said in a written statement.
The unidentified man had been preparing to cook a meal inside the trailer when propane gas filled the 15-foot trailer.
The man sparked a lighter, causing the explosion, the statement said.
The man was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton for treatment of burns to his chest and face.
His current condition was not known.
