Easy Fire: Evacuations And Closures

SIMI VALLEY (CBSLA) – The fast-moving Easy Fire exploded to 1,645 acres in Simi Valley and Moorpark Wednesday morning, threatening at least 6,500 homes and forcing major evacuations, including the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

Here are the latest evacuations and closures:

Voluntary Evacuations:

Area bordered by Tierra Rejada Road to the north, Santa Rosa Road to the south, Moorpark Road to the east and Vista Grande road to the west.
Area bordered by Olsen Road to the north, Sunset Hills Blvd. to the south, Morning Ridge Ave. to the east and Sunset Hills/East Olsen Rd. to the west.
Area bordered by Los Angeles Ave. to the north, Tierra Rejada Road to the south, 23 Freeway to the east and Miller Parkway to the west.

Small Animal Evacuations: Camarillo Adoption Center at 600 Aviation Dr.

Pierce College is FULL and not accepting any more large animals.
Ventura County Fairgrounds is FULL and not accepting any more large animals.
