Dodgers Place SP Bud Norris On 15-Day DL; Hill In Line To Start Sunday
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Dodgers have placed starting pitcher Bud Norris on the 15-day disabled list.
Norris left his last start after one batter when he felt discomfort in his back.
An MRI on Thursday revealed Norris has a strained back, which led the team to transfer him to the DL.
Ross Stripling will take his place in the rotation, as he gets the start when the Dodgers take on the Red Sox on Saturday.
Manager Dave Roberts also said newly-acquired SP Rich Hill is in line to make his first start as a Dodger on Sunday.
