DirecTV Signs Deal With Time Warner Cable For Lakers' SportsNet And Deportes

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) Lakers Fans and restaurant owners are in relief as DirecTV signed a deal with Time Warner Cable Thursday to carry the TWC SportsNet and TWC Deportes channels.

The networks are the local TV homes for the Lakers Angeles Lakers, Galaxy and Sparks games.

"DIRECTV is pleased that Los Angeles Lakers, LA Galaxy and Los Angeles Sparks games and programming will now be seen by so many people whose loyalty remains the life's blood to each team," said Dan York, chief content officer. We know that our customers will enjoy the great programming of these three franchises for many years to come."

SportsNet will be available on DirecTV on channel 691 throughout Southern California. TWC Deportes will be available in channel 458.
