Armed Woman In Custody Following Barricade In La Mirada
LA MIRADA (CBSLA.com) — Deputies Tuesday arrested a woman who allegedly barricaded herself inside of a home in La Mirada.
Shortly before 10 p.m. on Monday, deputies received report of a domestic issue located in the 15200 block of Borda Road, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Upon their arrival, officials located a woman barricaded inside of the home. Deputies said she was believed to be armed with a firearm, and cooperated with negotiators.
Surrounding homes in the area were evacuated for the safety of residents, deputies explained.
According to authorities, the woman was taken into custody shortly before 4 a.m.
