Del Mar Horse Racing Postponed After 15 Jockeys Tested Positive For COVID-19
DEL MAR (CBSLA) — Horse racing in Del Mar has been called off this weekend after 15 jockeys tested positive for COVID-19.
The jockeys are currently in isolation and believe they may have come into contact with two jockeys that tested positive while riding at Los Alamitos in Orange County last week.
San Diego health officials are allowing racing to resume a week from Friday without spectators.
Officials said contact tracing is currently underway.
