Upon their arrival, firefighters found water leaking into homes with what appeared to have potential for flooding damage, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Officials explained at least one upscale home has been flooded as a result of a four-inch water main that burst in the area.

Police said a 16-inch water main that was installed in 1975 broke in a residential neighborhood around 2 a.m. in the area of Avenue 45 and El Paso in Eagle Rock after water was seen rushing down a street.

Authorities closed Division Street in response to the incident.

LADWP crews reported a couple inches of water was seen flowing in the residential area upon their arrival to the scene.

Around 3 a.m., crews learned of a third water main break that occurred in the area of Melrose and Vermont avenues in East Hollywood.

Crews explained a six-inch pipe, which was installed in 1927, cracked and sent water trickling down Juanita Avenue.

Officials have turned off the water in all three areas in order to make necessary repairs.

CBS2's Jasmine Viel reported from the scene that two of the six LADWP crews who were supposed to be installing new pipes within the main line replacement program had to be pulled to deal with the incidents that occurred this morning.

All three incidents are unrelated.
