LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — What will it cost to see Kobe up-close for the last time in a Lakers uniform? About as much as a new Toyota Camry, according to one online ticket listing.
Courtside tickets for the Lakers vs. Jazz at Staples Center are going for as much as $25,000 each on the secondary market, according to StubHub. Nosebleed seats are going for as little as $689, according to listings on the site.
Already, a fan paid $27,000 for each of two courtside tickets to the game, ESPN reported.
The good news? There are more than 2,000 tickets for the game listed for sale on StubHub.
Kobe's last game isn't the only hot ticket in the NBA on Wednesday. The Warriors will have a chance to eclipse the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls' record of 72 regular season wins on the same night in Oakland.
Tickets for that game are going for as much as $15,900 on StubHub.
The Lakers issued a statement on Monday warning fans to use discretion when buying tickets on the secondary market and to be vigilant against fraudulent listings.
"We want to make sure buyers are knowledgeable about purchasing tickets from the secondary market," said Lakers Chief Operating Officer Tim Harris. "Lakers Ticket Exchange at Lakers.com is the only secondary site where purchases are authenticated and verified by Ticketmaster, and fans will be assured entrance into STAPLES Center on game nights."
