Commerce Paper Recycling Plant Catches Fire Overnight
COMMERCE (CBSLA.com) — A paper recycling plant went up in flames in the city of Commerce overnight, authorities said.
The fire broke out in the 2800 block of Vail Avenue just after 1 a.m. Sunday.
Fire officials say huge stakes of paper outside the building caught fire. The flames then spread into the plant.
Firefighters were able to knock down the blaze in about 90 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
