Children's Book 'Where Is Pidge?' Promotes Literacy With Strong Social Media Campaign

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Author Michelle Staubach Grimes stopped by KCAL9 Friday to talk about her book "Where is Pidge?"

Th new children's book comes with a strong social media push that has even the stars from Laura Bush to Jimmy Kimmel pitching in.

#PidgePromises are all about promoting literacy.

Michelle is the daughter of Roger Staubach, the famous Cowboys quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner. The mother of three dedicated the book to and named it after her own mom, who was called Pidge growing up.
