2 women wounded after possible domestic violence shooting in Canoga Park

Two women were hospitalized after a shooting that possibly stemmed from a domestic violence incident in Canoga Park early Sunday, according to police. 

It happened at around 8:30 a.m. at an apartment unit in the 21900 block of Roscoe Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. 

Officers said that they arrived to find the two victims, both unidentified, suffering from gunshot wounds. They were each taken to a nearby hospital in grave condition. 

One person of interest was detained in connection with the shooting, but as of Sunday night, police had not yet announced any arrests. 

The exact circumstances leading up to the incident remain under investigation.
