Investigation underway after man found dead floating close to shoreline in Hermosa Beach
A man's body was discovered floating in the ocean water near the Hermosa Beach shoreline early Friday morning.
The body was found about 7 a.m. near 21st Street, according to the Hermosa Beach Police Department.
Officers arrived at the scene and found the man dead, with a gunshot wound.
An investigation is underway with the HBPD and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's crime lab.
