Bestselling Author Reaches Out To Struggling Youth
STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Kailin Gow stopped by KCAL9 Tuesday to discuss her latest book, "Saving You Saving Me". Gow has released a number of books that center around romance, teen fantasy and empowering young people.
After working as a peer adviser to young women at the University of California at Irvine and hosting a radio show about the issues young women face, Gow decided to write her latest book.
In "Saving You Saving Me", Gow delves into the reality of abuse, alcoholism, self-esteem and sexual addiction, among an array of other topics. The bestselling author released the book in conjunction with the launch of the Saving You Saving Me Project, an online community where people can anonymously post about their problems and receive feedback from other users.
