Back in the day, the pioneers for vegetarianism fought an up-hill battle. A commitment to not eating animals condemned people to a life of boring food, lots of salads when dining out and let's not forget about the horrific cardboard-infused 'veggie' patties in the frozen food aisle that looked more like something your garbage disposal coughed up. These days, vegetarianism is not only easier but it's much tastier, too. Thanks to gourmet chefs, the classic veggie burger is just one the many meatless items that received a much-needed makeover. Save a cow and sink your teeth into a delicious veggie burger at any of these five locations.
