Some may think of the Sunset Strip as the popular location for rock venues like The Roxy and The Viper Room. But, Sunset Boulevard has been home and is home to many great restaurants. And, while some have been around for a while, there are some great new ones, too.

Inspired by the golden age of Hollywood, Ivory on Sunset is Mondrian's newest restaurant. Behind the scenes, Top Chef alum Brian Malarkey brings new contemporary California cuisine to a beautiful setting which overlooks the city. Serving small plates, this inventive and tasty menu includes plenty of options to choose from. The restaurant serves great options for breakfast and lunch, but for dinner, you can choose to get your own selections like their 8oz hanger steak or filet mignon, or shared items, including fried calamari, meatballs, pork belly, and a charcuterie and cheese plate. Flatbreads, and great sides like farmer's market vegetables are also on offer. A tasty dessert menu is also a highlight.

With locations around the city, one of the most popular is surely BOA Steakhouses Sunset Boulevard one. Set within a colorful environment, this modern steakhouse offers a prime selection of Omaha beef, including their 40 Day aged New York strip, as well as a bone-in rib eye steak. The restaurant offers great sides as well, including a Caesar salad made table side, mac and cheese, lobster mashed potatoes, and much more. To even out their steak or seafood main selections, you can order up vegetable sides like creamed or sautéed spinach, smashed broccoli, or chipotle lime corn. The restaurant is open for lunch as well and also offers an impressive cocktail and wine list.

As one of Sunset Boulevard's newest openings, The Guild is right across from The Church Key, and sits in the space that was once Il Bacio. Offering exciting dishes with locally sourced ingredients, this menu focuses on global cuisine. From yucca fries, a crab salad, braised lamb belly and wild mushroom bruschetta on their small plate menu to the oxtail gnocchi, hanger steak and pig's head on their large plates, The Guild's food is anything but ordinary. The restaurant is also open on Saturday and Sunday for brunch, with small and large plates.

If you're looking for great food within a grand and impressive setting, then look no further than Sunset Boulevard's The Church Key. This restaurant knows how to have fun with food in a memorable way. Offering tasty bites, the inventive menu is served with a dim-sum style service. Serving modern American cuisine, servers come around to offer appetizers like their crispy pork belly, the stuffed avocado with tuna tartare, as well as a charcuterie plate, chilled kusshi oysters, gnocci, enchiladas, and mcuh more.
