From sunset cruises to family fun on the pier, Independence Day in Orange County has never been better.

The city of San Clemente will commemorate America's independence with a fireworks show on the Municipal Pier beginning at dusk. Enjoy game booths and live shows as well as the sparkling display from the pier. Every year features new and exciting displays, so expect crowds. Come early to snag the best seats, and plan on a bit of a haul to get through the hubbub after the show.

The City of Cypress is teaming up with the armed forces to present a fireworks celebration that will be the talk of the town long after it's over. The event features live entertainment, a fun zone for kids, food and of course, a fireworks show. Government identification is required for all adults hoping to enjoy the festivities. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited, but lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged.

Fullerton boasts an entire day of Independence Day fun with game booths, live music and festival food for a nominal fee. All funds earned at the event will go to support non-profit organizations in Fullerton. The night will culminate in one of the area's best fireworks shows. Free parking is available nearby, but come early to avoid traffic and find the best spot for the festivities.
