Enjoy paddle boating on the cheap by renting a paddle boat. It's the best way to go for those of you who have never even thought of using one. If you're already in love with them, it's convenient to rent one rather than buy and transport one to whichever body of water you choose to use. Orange County has multiple spots available for renting and using a paddle boat.
Irvine Regional Park
1 Irvine Park Road
Orange, CA 92869
Among the other activities available at Irvine Regional Park, aquacycling is among them. An aquacycle is just a less cumbersome paddle boat. They are available during specific hours based on season. It costs $15 to rent a paddle boat for a half hour. The boats fits either two adults or an adult with two small kids
Yorba Regional Park
7600 E. La Palma
Anaheim, CA 92807
Yorba Regional Park has plenty of water to explore. Their four lakes offer connecting streams with a great aquatic environment and offer the chance to go fishing and model boat sailing. Besides these typical activities, there are also paddle boats for rent. Once you're done enjoying lakeside activities, actually going in is the next logical step.
Mile Square Regional Park
16801 Euclid St.
Fountain Valley, CA 92708
Mile Square Regional Park is named this because each side of it measures a mile long. It's perfect for runners and also has an archery range, but there's also a lake available for fishing and paddle boating. Have some fun and rent a paddle boat here. They offer a pedal boat, or a double pedal boat!
Beach Club Lagoon
21472 Avenida De Los Fundadores
Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688
Renting a paddle boat in Lago Santa Margarita will cost you just $2 for a 30 minute ride use which will have you wanting more.
