In addition to free candy canes and coffee, Sand Haven Pines is also throwing in a free balloon and a bag of popcorn. The best part about Sand Haven Pines is the free bouncy-house for kids.

Choose among Leyland Cypress, Monterey Pines and Aleppo Pines. The best part about Christmas Ranch Tree Farm is the free hot chocolate, coffee and candy canes. Delicately preserved pre-cut firs are also available.

Choose your Christmas tree, pay for it advance and a staff member wearing an orange vest will help you cut it down or supervise as you cut it down yourself.

Offering healthy, well-aged holiday trees that reach more than 11 feet, this family run farm is the perfect place to cut down your tree this year. Reservations can be made on individual trees, but visitors come from far and wide annually to cut their own. If you do not have tree-cutting equipment, Chamberlain provides saws without extra charge.

Also located about an hour's drive from the heart of LA, Fontana Pines grows more than eight acres of Monterey Pines for families throughout Southern California to enjoy. You can cut it down yourself using provided saws and supplies, or you can watch them cut it down for you right before your very eyes. Nothing captures the essence of Christmas quite like a tree coming out the ground rather than out of a box.
