With close to 200 vendors every Sunday, you are bound to like a few items at the Melrose Trading Post. Artists bring their paintings, jewelry and other crafts and set up their booths amongst hundreds of new and vintage items on display. This is an event that will require a pair of walking shoes and a few hours, as the people watching, the live jazz band's music and the food court may distract you for a while. The admission fee is low, but very valuable to the programs at Fairfax High School that it supports.

For more than a decade, Los Angeles photographer Rebecca Joyce has been perfecting her trade. What makes shopping at the Z Gallerie quite successful is that its website has an "Art under $100" section that can be perused at home prior to visiting the store. The stores carry most of the items shown online, but were they to be out of stock of any item, they will order it for you.
