Best Places For Craft Beers For Your July 4th BBQ

Whether you're celebrating with family, friends or on your lonesome during the 4th of July, you can't celebrate the day without some great beer. Los Angeles is a city where you can find just about everything, especially when it comes to craft beer. Check out these locations where you can get your fix on the best craft beers in and around The City of Angels.

When it comes to the best spots, people often times like to go for longevity. The Father's Office is one of the oldest locations which has been around for the past 40 years. Party goers usually like to book this venue for private functions. The Office can hold up to 78 guests with their private rooms seating up to 28 guests, so this spot is perfect for a pre-Fourth of July get together. Their most popular drink this season has been the Russian River Pliny the Younger, however, it goes quickly, so be sure to follow them on Twitter to make sure you are able to get your taste!

Another older brewery in Los Angeles is Eagle Rock, which has been crafting the best beer for over 60 years. They use small batches of artisanal beers, using quality ingredients and upholding them to the highest standards. This summer it is excepted to be another hot one so you want a nice, refreshing drink, such as the Manifesto Wit Bier with "a light wheat base and is typically spiced with coriander and citrus peel." Citrus, summer and Fourth of can't go wrong with that next to a plate of BBQ.

Formally known as Dale Brothers, Last Name Brewing sits about 25-30 minutes from Downtown Los Angeles. This is the perfect spot for Inland Empire or Orange County residents to flock to when they do not want to drive all the way into L.A., but still want the city atmosphere and wide selection of great craft beers.What better way to celebrate Independence Day in California than with a beer named after the state? If you go to Last Name Brewing around the holiday, make sure to try out the California Black Beer. "With a lighter body than many dark beers and subtle chocolate and coffee flavors, it appeals to the grizzly and teddy bear alike." Enjoy it next at your Fourth of July campfire with some s’mores.

Sometimes, you just get tired of the same ol' beers. This is why you need to try beer tasting at Monkfish Brewing Co. Plus, it turns the day into a fun weekend activity. The Monkish Brewing Co. has a tasting room where beer lovers can come and try out some new beers. If you love what you taste, you can also purchase some beer to take to your Fourth of July backyard BBQ. For those that are not really keen to the taste of beer, try something a little more fruity, such as the Fruit Cart which features a barrel-aged tart saison with blackberries, boysenberries, and cherries.
