When the degrees dip in Los Angeles, restaurants highlight menus that reflect the cooler winter temps. Hearty soups, robust chilis and even breakfast are being served inside freshly baked boules. Bread bowls are round sourdough (usually) loaves that have the inside scooped out and are then filled with broths, chowders and stews. There are lots of options when stepping out for a bread bowl meal.
