It's double the fun this week, with two chances to catch a flick under the stars, and two chances to indulge in your favorite frozen treats. Outdoor screenings of Pitch Perfect and Kill Bill are in store, as are an ice cream dinner and celebration of National Gelato Day. In addition to movie watching and ice cream eating, it's a great week to visit the new Beatles exhibit at the GRAMMY Museum, attend a fancy evening of champagne and oysters at a classy Beverly Hills hotel, and enjoy an event filled with Latino-centric eats and drinks for a good cause. It's a great week to be in Los Angeles!

If you've got the Monday blues, all you beed is love, and a trip to the GRAMMY Museum to check out the new exhibit "Ladies and Gentlemen...The Beatles!" Bringing guests back to the early 1960s when four lads from Liverpool re-energized an entire musical genre, this latest exhibit shows how Beatlemania ran rampant in America. From fashion to art, media to music, the Beatles affected nearly every aspect of pop culture during their rein. In addition to lots of great Beatles-related artifacts from the period, instruments, correspondence, posters, photos, interviews and even an interactive display where visitors can sing along with Ringo Starr will be available to see. "Ladies and Gentlemen...The Beatles!" will be at the GRAMMY Museum until September.

Pack your comfiest blanket and head to The Americana at Brand tonight for a movie under the stars. Every Tuesday night the Americana is screening a different movie outside on the grass, and tonight it's all about the Barden Bellas as they take on rival a cappella groups for musical domination in Pitch Perfect. Your $15 ticket includes admission and food, or for $5 more spring for an online VIP advanced seating ticket, which includes admission and food, premiere seating, and a Sprinkles cupcake. Arrive early and enjoy a little music and trivia with prizes before the movie starts. The film begins at sundown, and don't forget your blanket, as chairs will be allowed.

Sometimes adulting is hard, so give yourself a break and have some ice cream for dinner. Chef Kyle Schutte is hosting an Eight Course Ice Cream Dinner tonight, making all your childhood dreams come true. The upscale menu will showcase both sweet and savory ice creams in each course, with the title of each course corresponding with the flavor of ice cream used in the dish. Sure you'll find more traditional flavors like mint and brown butter, but how about oyster with meyer lemon sea foam, or lemongrass with pork belly and fish sauce caramel. It may sound crazy, but with Schutte's refined and noted contemporary flare, you're in good hands. If you can't make this once-in-a-lifetime dinner experience tonight, you've got another chance Saturday.

Things are about to get really fancy this Thursday, as Mr. C invites you aboard their yacht-inspired pool deck for an evening of champagne and oysters. Guests are encouraged to wear their finest summer whites as they mingle and sip endless pours of Veuve Clicquot Champagne. To eat, a raw bar featuring West and East Coast oysters and fresh shellfish will be set up, along with tray-passed hor d'oeuvres. Along with the bubbly, a specialty Belvedere cocktail and Peroni Nastro Azzurro will be available. DJ Bobby French will be spinning tunes throughout the event, which runs from 7:00pm - 9:30pm.

With outdoor movie season in full swing, this week offers not one, but two great chances to see a movie under the stars. Speaking of getting a two-for-one, tonight Cinespia is screening both Kill Bill Volume 1 and 2. Only the fourth film in Quentin Tarantino's impressive directorial career, the Kill Bill films quickly earned cult classic status. In this action epic, Uma Thurman seeks the ultimate revenge via high flying kung-fu stunts, samurai choreography, and a little 60s rock. Arrive early to listen to a DJ set by DJ Allie Teilz, and snap a pic in the free Kill Bill themed photo booth. Beer and wine are permitted, but leave the spirits at home.

If you're looking for a sweet way to end your week, look no further than celebrating National Gelato Day. Who better to serve you the sweet Italian treat than La Boheme's new Sicilian-born Chef de Cuisine Leonardo Daniele, who's got a Chocolate Rum Ganache with Pistachio Gelato on the revamped summer menu. Or you could make a trip to Altadena to visit Bulgarini Gelato Artigianale, where owner and gelato connoisseur Leo Bulgarini imports his almonds from Sicily and chocolate from France. If you're ready to go on a flavor adventure, Pazzo Gelato is where you'll want to head, where they add unexpected herbs and spices to the gelatos at their Silver Lake and Downtown locations. Italian gelateria Grom is always a solid bet (located in Hollywood and Malibu), or if you want to add a few extra indulgences, get a made to order Gelato Ice Cream Sandwich from Little Dom's, like the decadent Dark Chocolate Cookie with Strawberry Swirl Ice Cream.
