"One of the Nice Ones"
Atwater Village Theatre
3269 Casitas Ave
Los Angeles, CA 90039
Thanks to an extended run, it's the last week to see the play that Stage Scene LA has dubbed "exciting, daring, provocative, sexy, challenging and thoroughly enthralling." Currently enjoying the critically-acclaimed success of its world premiere, "One of the Nice Ones" is a comedy showing how cringe-worthy it can be when office politics and body image collide. Wheelchair-bound Tracy will stop at nothing to avoid being laid off by her boss at Tender Form Weight Loss Systems, as hapless co-worker Neal and weight loss client Colleen have a battle of their own. Hilarious and shocking, this play will have you cracking up, and wondering if it's okay.

Tonight's musical entertainment will be provided by Giovani and Diamante, and the fun starts at 7pm.

Celebrate National Dog Day
Friday is for the dogs, as we celebrate man's best friend with National Dog Day. La Boheme is welcoming four-legged guests with a special "Yappy Hour" on the patio, where dogs are greeted with a chic water bowl and can have their humans order them something from their own "Yappy Hour" menu. For a cool way to treat your furry friend, head to Rori's Artisanal Creamery, serving up an organic, dog-friendly ice cream in individual sized pup cups. If you really want to go all out and pamper that pooch, take them to the puppy friendly Orlando Hotel in West Hollywood, offering a "Bow-Wow" package that includes shuttle service to doggie daycare, doggie turn-down service, and a special treat and water bowl souvenir. No dog? No problem, Dog Haus will be celebrating the opening of its 20th store at its original Pasadena location with free Haus Dogs!
