"Women Laughing Alone With Salad"
Kirk Douglas Theatre
9820 Washington Blvd.
Culver City, CA 90232
(213) 972-4444

With a name like "Women Laughing Alone With Salad," how can you resist this play inspired by so many ads we see today showing attractive women blissfully eating salad? In this biting production, a man named Guy must navigate three very different women in his life, whose priorities are almost as crazy as their love affairs for salad. Cast members come from all over the entertainment spectrum, including the film Gone Girl, shows like Nashville and Scandal, and even a founding member of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. The play is written by award-winning playwright Sheila Callaghan, who brings the same raw comedy found in Shameless and other writings to the stage. Don't miss this west coast premiere that is not only hilarious, but poignant in its feminism and social critique of our image-obsessed culture.

Archway Theatre
10509 Burbank Blvd.
North Hollywood, CA 91601
(818) 980-PLAY

One of Shakespeare's most famous plays hits the Archway Theatre stage, as Archway resident company member Christopher Karbo takes on the title role in "Hamlet." In this version, Hamlet's bitterness and wild antics are the main focus. We see a Hamlet that is more manic genius than melancholy prince, connecting us with our own inner struggles. To keep the flow of the shortened play moving, and to focus on themes of human intrigue and psychological struggle, the war element has been removed from this production. However, it remains true to Shakespeare's text with all major scenes intact, and lush period costumes, you'll be fully immersed in the Bard's tale. Showtime is 8pm, and tickets are $30.
