Halloween isn't just for kids. As your best excuse to dress up in whatever you'd like, adults around L.A. use Halloween as a way to let loose and party the night away for this fun-filled holiday.

As the largest Halloween street party in the world, this annual event never disappoints. There will certainly be no better place to be on Halloween than in West Hollywood. The crowd is expected to swell to over half a million people, but the more the merrier, right? That's when events really get fun. And, if one city knows how to put on a carnival, it's definitely West Hollywood. There will be plenty of drinking and dancing, and costume contests to take part in as well! Knott's Scary Farm has been a staple of Halloween for years. Each year, the attractions and scariness get better and better, and this year is no exception. Knotts' long running Halloween scarefest and will include eight mazes (2 of them are new!), as well as zombie laser tag, an augmented reality game, a virtual-reality horror experience, and many immersive horror experiences for people who pay a little extra for a pass with a skeleton key. We definitely recommend this if you're not the type that loves waiting in lines! Prepare to be scared as you traverse the mazes and monsters sneak up on you to give you the fright of your life!

In what has become one of the most anticipated parties of the year, LA's KROQ always goes over the top for their annual costume ball. They may have outdone themselves this time as they have invited a little band by the name of the Red Hot Chili Peppers to play an intimate show at the Fonda. Keep in mind, this is band that could easily sell out the Forum, Staples Center, etc. In addition to the blockbuster performance from rock royalty, the stations own DJ Jeremiah Red of the ROQ N BEATS mix show will be handling the soundtrack for a party that has become the hottest ticket of the Halloween weekend. There will be a proper contest where the best costume could walk with cash and prizes. However, if you are lucky enough to get in, you have already won.

Dubbed The Valley's bests Halloween party, NoHo's Monster Bash with its theme of Heroes vs. Villains Halloween Party will surely not disappoint. Although all pre-sale tickets are sold out, you can still get in. Come the night of the event at the Federal Bar, and wait in line and you'll get your chance for $30 at the door to get into one of L.A.'s top events. Anyone who has a ticket all ready is given priority access and allowed in ahead of all others. Organizers were sick of having to drive 2 hours just to get to a party downtown, only to find out that a venue on Halloween was packed, so NoHo Monster Bash was created. This club party always has something interesting going on, has lots of great eye candy, has a great dance floor, and willbe fun from the moment you get in to the last moment you leave. There will be costume prizes, as well as a DJ playing top tunes all night. Every 30 minutes, they also have an act perform.

Get ready for more fang-tastic festivities with the animals, as Boo at the L.A. Zoo returns. Straying from the traditional haunted house, a spooky cave experience awaits you, filled with shadow projections and sounds of slithering snakes and crawling spiders. Daily weekday activities include a corn stalk maze, complete with haunted barn and "freaky frame" photo op, and "Animals and You" encounters with tarantulas, scorpions, snakes, and more at 10:45am and 11:45am.
