BELL GARDENS (CBSLA.com) — Four people were taken into custody early Friday after a flash bang was fired into a Bell Gardens hotel to end a standoff with the Hawthorne police SWAT team.
One of the suspects was wanted in connection with an assault on a police officer on Thursday, Hawthorne police Lt. Robbie Williams said. Two men and two women, one of whom is reportedly pregnant, were all taken into custody at about 4:20 a.m.
All four were tracked to the Quality Inn & Suites, 7330 Eastern Ave., where the standoff began late Thursday night.
