Roommate Charged In Strangling Death Of OC Sushi Chef
SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities sought the public's help Tuesday in locating a fugitive accused of strangling and murdering his sushi chef roommate and co-worker.
Henry Nunez-Godinez, 22, is accused of murdering 39-year-old victim Chang-Ho Jung by by strangling him with a cord in their Laguna Hills apartment on Dec. 11, 2013, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department (OCSD).
KNX 1070's Ron Kilgore reports at the time of the murder, Jung was a sushi chef and Nunez-Godinez was a restaurant attendant at the same restaurant in Lake Forest.

The owners of the sushi restaurant discovered Jung's body after going to check on him when he failed to show up for work, according to Sheriff's investigators.
Based on the OCSD's homicide investigation, Nunez-Godinez was charged with one felony count of murder on Dec. 26, 2013. He faces a maximum sentence of 25 years to life in state prison if convicted.
A $1 million warrant has also been issued for his arrest.
Investigators believe Nunez-Godinez may have fled to the country of Nicaragua by way of Mexico. Nunez-Godinez's vehicle, a black 2005 Volkswagon Jetta with license plate #6KJM618 has also not been located, authorities said.
