Authorities Make Major Weapons Bust In Inland Empire
EASTVALE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities in the Inland Empire on Thursday announced a major weapons bust that yielded a cache of assault weapons and explosives, some of which dated back to the Vietnam era.
The weapons were found at a house on Pimlico Place in the city of Eastvale.
KCAL9's Crystal Cruz talked to neighbors who said law enforcement officials, including the feds, spent hours inside the home
They confiscated as many as 50 long guns and explosives from the home, said officials.
The Press-Enterprise photographed the raid early this evening.
Neighbors told Cruz "lots" of kids live in the home.
One neighbor told her with so many children present, she never would've expected guns inside the home.
"I had no idea, I'm in shock," said the neighbor.
No one answered the door at the home in question.
Federal authorities are expected to give more details about the seizure tomorrow at a news conference, reported Cruz.
