Are You An Exaholic? New Website Proves Breaking Up Is Hard To Do

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The song "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do" is a classic for a reason.

But that Neil Sedaka hit (in 1962 and again in 1975) for some people is all too true.

A new website, Exaholics.com, hopes to help people stuck in the throes of a devastating break-up.

The site is for those who are having trouble with, according to the site, "dealing with rejection, loss and unrequited love."

Membership is completely anonymous. The membership (at this writing it's 255) includes, according to the site, singles, divorcees and divorcees with children.

Site founders hope to help those who are suffering and offer "a daily check-in," chats, open forums, "friend-ing," Q&A's, articles and advice.

Catherine C. writes, "This site was created by a team of Exaholics, for the population of fellow Exaholics. Losing a spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend, lover, fiance, partner or any significant person in our lives, for whom we have (or have had) feelings, can be an extremely painful experience."
