Andy Murray Wins Second Wimbledon Championship
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Andy Murray won his second Wimbledon Championship after defeating Milos Raonic in straight sets on Sunday.
Murray famously ended Britain's 77-year Wimbledon drought in 2013.
This was Murray's 11th appearance in a Grand Slam final, but the first one he has played against an opponent not named Novak Djokovic or Roger Federer.
Murray posted this photo on Instagram following his win:
"To do it twice here, at an event where there is a lot of pressure on me to perform well -- I'm very proud with how I've handled that over the years," Murray said.
