DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Dozens of workers at a clothing retail giant took to the streets of Downtown L.A. Wednesday afternoon to wage a protest outside the American Apparel factory.
They marched in circles at the intersection of 7th and Alameda streets, calling for the resignation of the American Apparel's executive management.
The company recently announced it was laying off workers and closing retail stores.
CBS2/KCAL9 have not yet received a response from American Apparel after requesting comment.
