Actress Claire Danes Honored With Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame
HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Actress Claire Danes was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday.
At 11:30 a.m., the 2,559th star was presented to Danes in front of The White House Café, located in the 6500 block of Hollywood Boulevard.
The award-winning actress, who is a native to Manhattan, N.Y., began her acting career at the age of 10-years-old, according to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
Danes soon caught the attention of critics with her role as Angela Chase in the series "My So Called Life," which earned her an Emmy nomination. She was also awarded with a Golden Globe.
Currently, she is starring on Showtime's critically-acclaimed series "Homeland" as Carrie Mathison, an unstable yet brilliant CIA agent.
Dane's role in the series has earned her back to back Emmy and Golden Globe awards.
