4-Year-Old Boy, 2 Adults Struck By Gunfire In Pasadena

PASADENA ( — Authorities say a four-year-old boy and two adults Friday were wounded when shots were fired into a Pasadena home.

Pasadena police Lt. Ed Calatayud told KNX 1070 that the shootings happened just before 9 p.m. in the 1800 block of Summit Avenue near East Tremont Street.

The child was the most seriously hurt. He was shot in his upper torso. As of 10 a.m. Saturday, he was listed in critical but stable condition.

Police said all three victims are expected to recover. The relationship between the two adults and the boy was not immediately clear.

The suspects, described by Pasadena police as three Hispanic men between the ages of 18 and 20, remained at large.

One has a shaved head and was wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts.

The other two suspects were wearing black shirts and baggy jeans.

All three were seen fleeing the scene on foot.

A motive for the shooting was not known.

No further information was immediately available.
