Man Shot In Chest Multiple Times In Chatsworth Apartment Complex, Female Suspect Flees In Truck
CHATSWORTH (CBSLA) —A man was shot in the chest multiple times inside a Chatsworth apartment complex Tuesday afternoon.
Police responded to the 9900 block of De Soto Avenue near Lassen Street just before 4:15 p.m.
The man, said to be in his forties, was taken to a hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. He was reported to be in critical condition.
A large police presence could be seen from SKY9 outside of an apartment complex. Officers were clearing the building as they searched for any other victims as well as the shooter.
Police said the suspect, described as a white female, fled the scene in a truck.
Investigators remained at the scene Tuesday evening.
