3 Motorcyclists Shot On 110 Freeway In Gardena
GARDENA (CBSLA) — The hunt is on for the gunman who targeted three motorcyclists early Sunday morning in Gardena. The shootings occurred in the southbound lanes of the 110 Freeway at the 405 Freeway junction.
The three bikers were in a larger group riding south and had just passed the 91 Interchange when someone in a vehicle next to them opened fire. The group got off at the 181st exit and called 911. The victims, all men in their 40's, were taken to a local hospital. Two of them are in critical condition.
"We're really open to any possibilities that could have caused this shooting but one that comes to mind is road rage,"said CHP Officer Lance Nieves.
