$1 Million Wedding Dress, Ensemble Is Small Part Of Billion Dollar Nuptials

MOSCOW  (CBSLA.com)  —  If you have the kind of money to plunk down $1 million for the dress, what's a billion dollars for the rest of the party?

Khadija Uzhakhova, Russian dental student, put together a billion dollar wedding and reception for 600 guests complete with 9-tier cake, Ellie Saab-designed 28-pound dress (diamonds are heavy, doncha know?), diamond earrings, pendant and tiara and millions of flowers. Millions. Of. Flowers. Flown in from Paris.

Her wedding to Said Gutseriev, 28, will likely end up in the record books as the costliest ever. (Although don't give Mariah Carey any ideas.)

The dental student, 20, is the daughter of a Russian billionaire. Her new father-in-law is no slouch either -- he's a media and oil tycoon worth $6.2 billion.

Also on the tab -- when a mere deejay won't do -- Sting, Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez -- known for singing "Love Don't Cost a Thing." We beg to differ. HA!

Of course, guests were given a keepsake -- gold jewelry boxes inscribed with the couple's names and date of the nuptials. And doesn't that beat the Jordan almonds you gave out all to heck?

Rumor has it, the couple will tie the knot in London -- for the people who couldn't make Wedding #1. At the next nuptials, the bride and groom will reportedly be serenaded by Elton John and Beyonce.
