Teen Arrested In Beating Death Of HS Basketball Star
DALLAS, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas police have arrested a teen at his high school for the beating death of an 18 year old.
Jonathan Turner was taken into custody Monday morning at James Madison High School and charged with the murder of Troy Causey.
Causey was a basketball star at Wilmer Hutchins High School when he was beaten to death by two teens in front of his Oak Cliff home.
He was taken to the hospital with severe head injuries, including a fractured skull. He died several days after the attack.
Turner is a senior and plays basketball as well.
No word yet on what lead to the altercation.
