Perry Up in Another Poll

A new Texas Lyceum poll shows Governor Perry in the lead with Bill White staying close.

The Governor leads 48 to 43 percent over Democrat Bill White.  Pollster Darren Shaw says White is within striking distance but there is one problem, there aren't that many undecided voters out there.  "There's only three percent undecided which is in contrast with the Lt. Governor and Attorney General races where there is a large percentage of undecided."  Shaw says in the Lt Governor and Attorney General races the Republican incumbents have double-digit leads over their Democratic challengers, possibly because the incumbents are more well-known and the Democrats haven't done a lot of advertising to get their names out there.
