My love for the outdoors started with bass fishing with my dad as a child. In the winter, we would spend our time duck hunting. Needless to say, I never lost the passion for the outdoors. I have bass fished at many levels. I even worked for some tackle manufactures. The greatest thing for me is when I take a child fishing. For over 40 years, I have spent my time on the water and in the woods. This is what my dad did for me and I love doing for my clients. Dad had a 14-foot sketter boat in 1965 when he won a major fishing tournament and gave the grand prize away. This was a deep sea fishing trip. Since my father was strictly a bass fisherman, I learned to bass fish and do it well. I also learned to be quite and to have good manners on the water. While bass fishing can be exciting, bowfishing can add an exciting and challenging twisting on fishing. I hope my son, Hunter, is going to remember his youth with his dad. Hunter is my deck hand for now. We are so excited to share the fun and excitement of bowfishing with our clients. Although we shoot many different types of fish such as, buffalo, drum, grass carp and common carp, we really specialize in bowfishing trophy alligator gar on the Trinity River.
