You'll find this charming farmhouse cafe on the edge of Fort Worth, serving up a memorable Thanksgiving feast that's been creatively prepared by the owner, who happens to be a French trained chef. Bring the family and let the kids play in the yard while you wait for lunch.There will be assortment of wonderful dishes to choose from, including sweet potato jalapeno soup, salad, turkey breast, roasted pork loin, fluffy mashed potatoes, gravy, corn bread dressing and warm apple-cranberry compote. Desserts here are equally outstanding, so leave some space because you'll have the option of pumpkin cheese cake with a gingersnap crust, maple pecan bread pudding with rum sauce, coconut cake, lemon chess pie, warm fudge pie with walnuts, and a chocolate orange mousse with Grande Marnier cream.

This wonderful European-style cafe is known for serving only products that are organic and locally sourced. The southern-inspired Thanksgiving menu will please everyone from carnivores to vegetarians with a heritage-breed turkey, lamb, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and a variety of side dishes fresh from the garden. The cafe makes scrumptious desserts, and there will be plenty of southern favorites in the line-up. Live music will also be provided by a classical guitarist. If you fancy a glass of wine with your meal, then bring your own, or pick some up at the owner's shop across the street.

Having a vegetarian Thanksgiving meal in a Hare Krishna temple might seem nontraditional, but between the magical ambiance and flavorful food offerings here, you might end up starting a new Thanksgiving tradition. The restaurant will offer a buffet with a salad bar, mung bean soup, tofu turkey, dressing, gravy, fresh mustard greens, green beans, mashed potatoes, candied yams, wild rice, cranberry sauce, cornbread, rolls and, of course, pumpkin pie.
