Avoid College Essay Mistakes
College applications are due very soon for most high school seniors, and unfortunately, many students will leave the essay for last. Admissions counselors report that many students lose their chance to shine on the essay by making some key mistakes.
The first is procrastinating and writing a poor product. The second is that the essay does not take the audience into account, is too generic, and not a rich description of the candidate. The third is writing one essay for many schools, not taking into account the differences of the colleges.
