Judge Sentences Man Who Vandalized Mosque
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS)- A former Army medic has been sentenced for damaging a mosque in Fort Collins.
A judge sentenced Joseph Giaquinto to three years in wellness court, and six months of work release.
Giaquinto was caught on surveillance video last March kicking the Islamic Center of Fort Collins, and throwing rocks and a Bible through its windows.
His lawyers argued he was a veteran suffering from post-traumatic stress, and had problems with alcohol abuse.
