Temperatures Stay in the Low 30s for Denver, Snow Showers Over the Mountains

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Wednesday still saw scattered snow in the mountains, but for the most part the snow is gone as that major storm continues to move east...but the cold air remains in place. Denver's official high reached 30 degrees with the downtown high only inching to 33, but we did have a little more sunshine. Looks like more of the same for Thursday: partly sunny but still in the low 30s for the greater metro area and scattered snow showers higher up.

Only slightly warmer Friday as we expect mid to upper 30s under partly sunny skies. As the weekend arrive we push into the low 40s with plenty of sunshine' near 50 for Sunday and fair and dry weather continues. We're almost mild as we start next week with mostly sunny skies and a high in the mid to upper 50s for Monday!
