Tennessee hospital pharmacy put potassium in syringes instead of anesthetic, families say
Families of patients at Ascension St. Thomas Hospital in Tennessee say the pharmacy filled syringes with potassium instead of a standard epidural anesthetic, leaving at least four people seriously injured — including a woman now paralyzed after knee replacement surgery.
