Temperatures above freezing helping plows keep expressways clear of snow and ice
Illinois Department of Transportation public information officer Maria Castaneda said the warmer temperatures have been helping keep the state’s expressways clear Wednesday morning, but as temperatures drop tonight, slushy spots, bridges, and overpasses could freeze.
