Strong storms bring heavy rain, hail, tornado threats to Chicago area
Much of the Chicago area was walloped by intense storms Tuesday afternoon, with heavy rain and large hail, as well as multiple tornado warnings, and conditions were still ripe for more storms through the early evening.
