Steel beam from 9/11 attack on World Trade Center stops in Chicago
A piece of 9/11 history is making a tour stop in Chicago ahead of the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attack in New York. A 21-foot steel beam salvaged from the World Trade Center arrived at a Near West Side firehouse on Wednesday as part of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s “Steel Across America” tour.
