Performers fill Millennium Park with music for Gospel Music Festival
In a lakefront celebration of spirit Saturda at the Chicago Gospel Festival, people turned out to Pritzker Pavilion for a full day of music. Chicago is actually considered the birthplace of gospel. South musicians who came to the city during the Great Migration blended the blues with religious music.
