Oscar-winning Palestinian director released after alleged attack by Israeli settlers
The co-director of the Oscar-winning documentary “No Other Land” has been released from Israeli custody. Colleagues of Hamdan Ballal said Israeli settlers beat him up at his West Bank home on Monday. Israeli soldiers then took Ballal away.
