Illinois lawmakers pushing to repeal state's anti-BDS law
The Illinois House heard arguments on Thursday to repeal the state's anti-BDS law, which says the state's pension funds can not be invested in companies that boycott Israel. The law itself has been used as a model across the country. Illinois state Rep. Abdelnasser Rashid (D-Chicago) is sponsoring the bill to repeal it.
